Built on a passion
for doing things properly
From apprentice to business owner
I started my career as an apprentice joiner with Taylor Wimpey, where I completed my joinery apprenticeship and learned the importance of quality workmanship, attention to detail and doing a job properly.
I had always wanted to build a business of my own, which led me to start Maxwell Property Services. From day one, I knew my reputation would be everything. That’s why we never cut corners, take pride in every job and always aim to leave every customer completely happy with their experience.
I also document the journey on TikTok, sharing the work, the challenges and everyday life behind the business. It allows future customers to see the standard of our work, understand the type of person I am and know exactly who they’re trusting with their home before they request a quote.
A name worth living up to
Maxwell is Ollie’s grandad’s middle name. When Ollie started the business, he wanted it to carry a name that meant something—a constant reminder to build a company his grandad could be proud of.
Just as Ollie would never want to let his grandad down, he never wants to let down a customer who places their trust in Maxwell. From the first visit and written quote to the finished fence and final tidy-up, every detail matters. We aim to go above and beyond, exceed expectations and complete every job in a way that lives up to the Maxwell name.
Ollie’s goal is to make his grandad’s name a household name across Teesside—recognised for quality workmanship, honest service and doing things properly.
What every job gets, no matter the size
- A lifetime workmanship guarantee on every job
- Pressure-treated tanalised timber on every job
- Concrete posts and gravel boards where the job calls for them
- Galvanised hinges, latches and fixings — nothing that rusts
- Straight lines, level tops, and a proper finish
- A tidy site at the end of every day
- A free written quote before anything starts
Our lifetime workmanship guarantee means anything that ever goes wrong with our workmanship is put right free of charge. It doesn't cover weather damage, third-party interference, or natural discolouring — timber is a natural product and will weather with the elements.

-
A passion for joinery
Maxwell was built on a genuine passion for joinery and doing things properly. If a job is worth doing, it gets done right.
-
Strong, well-built work
Materials and methods chosen to last decades, not seasons — the details you can’t see decide how long the fence you can see survives.
-
Tidy and respectful
Your garden is your home. We keep the site clean as we go and leave it spotless — reviewers mention it again and again.
